Rants

Wow, it has definitely been too long between posts for me. It seems that I never have time to do anything other than study, and not get enough sleep. I am always so tired now, I cant hardly walk to my classes without wanting to sleep in that warm sun. Thank god that dead week is coming up, that means I get to listen to some good music in English class, and study for the rest of my classes.

I can't believe that I am going to be moving out of this tiny room soon. I feel like I am just getting accomodated to it, and now I have to move. I sort of want to come back next year and see who is living here. On the topic of housing, the Georgia Tech Housing office has yet to notify me of my living quarters next semester, so I guess I am living on the streets...how exciting.

Ah summer, I am co-oping with the U.S. Government, hopefully working with helicopters. I think its going to be lots of fun and a good learning experience. If only I could do this instead of school...that would make my day(s). But, right now I think I need to get some sleep, because I am going to the Georgia Aquarium tomorrow.

Schoooooool

Wow, school is really taking a toll on my sleep schedule. Last night I went to bed at 10:30. ON A SATURDAY. I think that is a pretty good indication of how tired I have been the past week. I am working on my 1770 project which involves way too much work. Hopefully easter weekend will be a little less hectic. I gotta get back to drawing more gears and covers for this engine though.

Newest Music

This week has been hectic. Getting ready for two tests, and turning in a paper. The work never stops, just like at the post office where the letters never stop. I'm actually taking a break from studying, and posting from the fifth floor of the library. So far, Love Medicine has been a wonderful book to read, although it feels like I have nothing to add during the discussions in class. Maybe I am taking the book too literally, or maybe I just don't want to say anything, I don't know. But, listening to what others to say really opens my mind to the possibilities of this book. I reall do enjoy it.

I have just re-discovered Bob Dylan, and have been listening pretty heavily to all of his albums that I own, as well as some classical music and the occasional Allman Brothers sprinkled in. I really enjoy listening to their music, because it all seems to come from this deep passion for life. All of their songs not only have amazing musical talent incorporated, but also the feel behind the music is wonderful. Just like Stevie Ray Vaughn's Texas Flood, its all feel.

Well, I should probably get back to studying.....maybe.
